A lime disc is a large coin-sized slice off a lime with peel on once side and a small amount of flesh on the other. The primary application of the lime disc is in preparing Ti Punch: the disc is crushed over the serving glass and dropped in. The nature of the cut is to contribute a relatively large amount of essential oils and a relatively small amount of lime juice to the drink.
