Also known as “lime slice”,“slice of lime”. A lime wheel is a cross-sectional slice of a lime, usually between an eighth and a quarter inch thick, producing the visual appearance of a spoked wheel. Lime wheels are typically floated atop a drink, inserted down the side of a glass, or slit with a knife and slotted on the edge of a glass. A half lime wheel is a wheel bisected in two to produce a semicircular garnish.
