Also known as “Tequila platino”,“white tequila”,“Tequila plato”,“silver tequila”. Tequila blanco is a generic category for colorless and near-colorless tequila distilled from 100% fermented agave and aged no more than two months. True tequila blanco must state on the label “100% blue agave”, “100% puro de agave” or “100% de agave”; if it does not, then it tequila mixto.
