Taylor Fladgate White Port

18% ABVPortugal

Also known as “Taylor’s White Port”. White port is a rich fortified wine made produced in Portugal from white grapes. Inexpensive, young white ports are otherwise similar (except in color) to ruby port, although some (generally more expensive) white ports undergo more extensive aging and/or barrel aging that moves their characteristics more in the tawny direction. For mixed drinks, a young, inexpensive white port should suffice. If the wine in question wasn’t made in Portugal, it isn’t really Port, but a wine made in the style of port. Some countries (including the United States) permit these wines to be labeled as “port”.
