Louis Royer Force 53º

53% ABVCognac

Proprietary VSOP cognac bottled at the atypically high 53% ABV, which arguably enables this brandy to stand up better in mixed drinks. V.S.O.P. cognac is generic for an official, legally enforced grade of cognac. VSOP stands for “Very Superior Old Pale” and indicates that the brandies in the product are at least four years old (although the average may be much older than that). Unfortunately, while the VSOP designation does presumably guarantee a fact about the particular brandy, it should not be presumed to impart other objective or subjective qualities to a product. This distinction is of primary interest for degustation. For mixed drinks purposes, any cognac will usually do.
