Proprietary añejo tequila aged at least 2.5 years. Tequila añejo is generic for distilled agave spirit from Jalisco, Mexico, aged a year or more. True tequila añejo must state on the label “100% blue agave”, “100% puro de agave” or “100% de agave”; if it does not, then it tequila mixto.
