Vanilla Reál Madagascar Vanilla Infused Syrup
Proprietary vanilla syrup in a squeeze bottle. Vanilla syrup is generic for a sugar syrup infused with vanilla flavoring, either commercial or homemade. Homemade vanilla syrup is trivial to produce: simply create a simple syrup and add vanilla extract. The proportions will depend on the strength of the extract you're using, but you could start with 1 cup simple syrup and a scant 1 tsp vanilla extract and adjust from there. Using a demerara sugar or a portion of brown sugar will add additional flavor and color. For the highest quality vanilla syrup, place a split vanilla bean in a sauce pan with 8 oz sugar and 8 oz water, heat to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat, cool, remove the vanilla bean and bottle. Various recipes are available on the internet.
