Squirt

Proprietary carbonated grapefruit and lemon soda, created in 1938 and highly regarded since the 1950s for its mixed drink uses. Owned by Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc., a subsidiary of Cadbury Schweppes, the British soft drink and candy producer. Grapefruit soda is generic for a carbonated beverage with predominant natural or artificial grapefruit flaving, but often containing lemon or lime elements as well. An early commercial example was Squirt, introduced in 1938.
