Maker’s Mark
Proprietary wheated bourbon produced in Loretto, Kentucky. In 2013, a small quantity of Makers Mark was sold in the US at abv 42%. Makers Mark in some export markets is sold at 40% abv. Bourbon whiskey is a generic category for U.S. single-malt whiskey distilled from predominately corn mash with wheat or rye grains. Popular in all manner of mixed drinks 19th century-present.
