Coca Cola

Also known as “Coke”. Proprietary brand of nonalcoholic carbonated, sweetened soda made with kola nuts, spices, and fruit flavorings. Noted by name in such cocktails as the Cuba Libre (Rum & Coca Cola, so-called). Take note: the American version is sweetened with corn syrup, while notably, the Mexican Coke is sweetened with cane sugar, as was the Coca Cola made in the U.S. many years ago.
