Also known as “Midleton Rare”. Proprietary blended Irish whiskey bottled in “vintages”. First introduced in 1984 by Irish Distillers (Pernod Ricard). Blended irish whiskey is generic for irish whiskey comprised of aged grain and malt spirits. This category covers that vast majority of irish whiskey by volume.
