Honey-Ginger Syrup [Sam Ross]
This is the formula for the honey-ginger syrup that defines Sam Ross’ Penicillin. ======== Combine in a pot: 1 cup honey 1 six-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced 1 cup of water Heat to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Refrigerate overnight, then strain, discarding the solids. ========
