sugar cube soaked with Angostura Bitters
0% ABV
This prepared sugar cube is a common element in drinks employing sparkling wine. You need a common refined sugar cube or a lump of moderately porous sugar. To soak the sugar, you can either place the lump in the serving glass or a dish and drop or dash bitters on it until it looks saturated. Alternatively, you can place a sugar cube on the top of the bitters dasher, use your finger to hold it in place, and invert the dasher bottle over the cube until the bitters seep into and through the cube.
