Grapefruit juice is the fresh squeezed citrus juice of ripe grapefruit. Common in mixed drinks. Varieties offer different colors (white/yellow and pink) and differing degrees of the sweet/bitter/sour balance. It is highly unadvisable to resort to canned grapefruit juice in cocktails unless specifically specified, which is extremely rare.
