Takamine Koji Fermented Whiskey 8 Years Old

40% ABVJapan

Also known as “Takamine 8 Years Old”. Proprietary whiskey pot-distilled from barley malted with koji, and aged at least eight years in a combination of new American oak and ex-bourbon casks. Japanese whisky is generic for whisky made in Japan, either blended or single-malt, in a style which seems to cross Irish and Scotch whiskies with a bolt of dry American rye thrown in for good measure. Suntory is a major producer. The quality of this product tends to be high.
